What is the Email Templates Application?

The Email Templates Application is a great way to create and organize all templates for general emails that you send to your clients. Within the application, you can edit the appearance of your emails, allowing you to create email templates that reflect the character of your business. This feature makes your emails more personal and unique to your company. After a template has been created, you can name the template, write a general description, categorize the email, and specify a domain.

While creating the template, the interface features a sidebar that displays coding syntax for dynamic information in an email such as:

• Customer’s first name - {{order_fname}}
• Billing company name - {{bill_compname}}
• Shipping company name - {{ship_compname}}
• Shipping carrier name - {{carrier}}
• Credit card number {{cc_num}}
• Current company’s domain name - {{site_name}}
• Current company’s email - {{emailus}}

Why do you Need it?

Though this may seem like an optional application, the Email Templates Application allows you create your own customizable email templates. The application’s email syntax sidebar is beneficial to your company because it saves you time from having to manually write each customer a personalized email. Furthermore, you have unlimited freedom as to what kinds of emails you would like to create. After creating the email, you can decide to send it out automatically or manually, to whom it gets sent to, and whether to accept replies or not.

This system is unique because it is integrated with the Orders and Checkout Application, which automates the email process. This system allows you to override preset system emails, allowing you to send beautiful email templates that match your company's identity.
