The Wishlist Application allows customers to browse through your catalogs and compile a list of items that they would like to buy, but just cant at the moment. Unlike the Shopping Cart Application, the Wishlist Application does not immediately take you to a checkout screen. Instead it displays products that customers put on their wishlist, quantity, and offers an option to add it to the shopping cart.
Our product works closely with the Inventory Application to provide an organized database of Product numbers, SKU numbers, and total number of wishes for any item. You can expand the view on each product and see which account wished for each item. This system will not duplicate products that were already wished for, making it as compact and organized as possible. Closely integrated with your inventory, if an item that was wished for goes out of stock, you can automatically contact your customers who wished for it to inform them.
Although not used to facilitate the purchase of products on your website, the Wishlist Application offers a cool tool to your clients. Enabling consumers to add items to a wishlist rather than a shopping cart allows customers to keep tabs on the items they want so they can purchase those items later. The application also allows your business to see which products customers have added to their wishlist and provides information as to who wished for the product as well as their contact information. Using this data, your business can contact these clients to promote more sales.
The Wishlist Application is closely integrated with other applications such as the Inventory, Customers, and Shopping Cart. Inventory checks if items are in stock, Customers display who wished for the item, and Shopping Cart gives customers the opportunity to add the wished for items to their shopping cart. Integration with these apps creates an organized database that stores all items that have been wished for.
